J. Mark McVey, a veteran Broadway performer whose leading roles include a seven-year stint as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, joins a cast of Broadway favorites headlining a star-studded Benefit Evening, MASQUERADE: ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER'S GREATEST HITS, on Saturday, April 18, at the Bickford Theatre, 6 Normandy Heights Road, in Morristown, NJ.

J. Mark McVey joins the previously announced Gary Mauer (The Phantom, The Phantom of the Opera) and Elizabeth Southard (Christine, The Phantom of the Opera). Also starring are Julie Waldman-Stiel (The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, National Tour), Carbonell Award-nominee Rachel Cohen (Evita, Cats National Tour), Mark Montague (Show Boat with Tony Award-nominee Robert Cuccioli and Gay Willis), Jennifer Montague, Christopher A. Budinich, and Jodi Chekofsky.

MASQUERADE features the best-loved songs from the mega hits composed by the Tony, Grammy and Academy Award-winning composer, including Broadway show-stoppers from Cats, Evita, The Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard, Jesus Christ Superstar, Song & Dance, Starlight Express, Aspects of Love, Whistle Down the Wind, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. J. Mark McVey made his Broadway debut as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables after having won the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Actor while on tour with the show. He was also the first American to perform the role in London's West End. Mr. McVey recently reprised the role of Jean Valjean in a special concert version of Les Miserables presented to a sold out crowd at the Hollywood Bowl and recently completed his seventh full year in that role.
