Two Rivers Brewing Company Honors Shelley Brown with Leading Lady Harvest Ale

Shelley Brown, President & CEO of the State Theatre is the latest honoree of Two Rivers Brewing Company's Great Beer for a Great Cause program. The "Leading Lady Harvest Ale" will be unveiled at a release party held at the Easton restaurant on Tuesday, September 20th from 5 pm - 8 pm.

According to the restaurant, Brown was chosen as September's Great Beer for a Great Cause "for her tireless work on behalf ofEaston's State Theatre. Our city's recent Renaissance owes much to Shelley Brown, her staff, volunteers and patrons of the theater for restoring a theater that draws thousands of theatergoers to our city who eat in our restaurants and shop in our stores."

Two Rivers Brewing Company will donate $1 per beer sold that day to the State Theatre in Brown's name.

Leading Lady is an all-local harvest ale, brewed with local Cascade, Centennial, and Nugget hops from Kressler Hops and local malt from Deer Creek Malt. It is a light malt with loads of citrus and earthy hop flavors. It was mere hours from when the hops were on the vine to when they were in the kettle.

For almost a year, Two Rivers Brewing Company has been doing a monthly program called "Great Beer for Great Causes" where they name a beer after someone in the community who is doing something that enhances the City of Easton.
