Nashville audiences can relax about one particular holiday detail: Those five wonderful women of Mas Nashville are plotting their comeback. Erin Parker, Laura Matula, Melodie Madden Adams, Cori Laemmel and Megan Murphy Chambers return to the stage of the historic Belcourt Theatre on Wednesday, December 28, for A ChristMAS Holiday Hangover, the latest cabaret conquest from the multi-talented quintet of Nashville performers.

Hot on the stiletto heels of their past successes - FIVE, FIVE Encore and The Linda Lane Show - the women of MAS Nashville will seek to extend the holiday revelry with their latest endeavor, described as a "musical ride to ring out the season."

According to the official press release from the MAS Nashville headquarters bunker,  "A ChristMAS Holiday Hangover is a unique Cabaret-style production that will feature a full band and celebrate the holiday standards you know and love while bringing you new takes on familiar carols, winter songs, and musical parodies."

Okay, so why wait until after Christmas to introduce this new holiday tradition (at least we expect it to become tradition judging by public response to the company's past efforts)?  "We know that the holidays are busy times - not only for us but for everyone - so we thought a ?Holiday Hangover? would be a great way to keep the spirit alive and give people somewhere to take their families that are still in town...or somewhere to  escape from the families they?re in town visiting," says Erin Parker, MAS Nashville?s artistic director. "It also gives us a chance to explore more music, themes and comedy than a straight ?Christmas? show."

The ladies of MAS promise to deliver the powerhouse vocals and irreverent humor that  audiences have grown to expect and love, Parker says.

"Staying true to the roles that emerged as they have worked together, Erin Parker, Cori Laemmel, Laura Matula, Melodie Madden Adams and Megan Murphy Chambers are bound to wow and entertain as they stir up this holiday cocktail with just the right mix of serious and satire," so says the p.r. machine.

Tickets for the December 28 show, which will have an 8 p.m. curtain, are on presale for $20, with tickets at the door for $25. Groups of ten can secure tickets for $18. Go to www.belcourt.org to purchase tickets.

According to Parker, "this show has a PG rating for some innuendo." Yippee! For further details, go to www.MasNashville.com.
