Winners Announced for Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards

The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) tonight announced winners of its Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards in 23 categories of film, television, commercials and live theater. Winners in the film categories include 'Mad Max: Fury Road,' 'Cinderella,' 'Furious 7' and 'Pitch Perfect 2.' Television winners included 'American Horror Story: Hotel,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'Dancing With the Stars,' 'The Walking Dead' and 'Scream Queens.' The awards took place at Paramount Studios Theatre before an audience of more than 700, including guild members, industry executives and press. MUAHS President Sue Cabral-Ebert presided over the awards ceremony with The Real's Loni Love serving as host. M.A.C. Cosmetics served as the Presenting Sponsor and the Official Cocktail Reception Sponsor.

Johnny Depp presented Lifetime Achievement Awards to Oscar®-winning make-up artist Ve Neill (The Hunger Games, Face Off) and Oscar-winning hair stylist Yolanda Toussieng (Insurgent).

Presenters for this year's awards included Tamera Mowry-Housley (The Real), Brandy (Zoe Ever After), Timothy Omundson (Galavant), LeVar Burton (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Kate Flannery (The Office), June Diane Raphael (Grace and Frankie), Lauren Lapkus (Orange Is the New Black), Arielle Kebbel (Ballers, Fifty Shades Darker), Dove Cameron (Liv and Maddie), Melody Thomas Scott (The Young and the Restless), Brian Letscher (Scandal), Dash Mihok (Ray Donovan), Doug Jones (The Strain), AMPAS President Cheryl Boone Isaacs and Michael Key (Make-Up Artist Magazine Publisher).
