Apropos of nothing other than their love of The Divine Miss M, Stefanie Black and Tom DeTrinis star in the world premier of "A Day at The Beaches" this Sunday, January 18th at 8pm at 3 Clubs in Hollywood.

Directed by Kate Sullivan Gibbens (The Album Project, Spring Awakening in Concert) with musical direction by Zach Spound (accompanist: The Album project: Jagged Little Pill, music direction: The Mee-Ow Improv Show at Northwestern University), "A Day at The Beaches" combines improv, song, and storytelling to salute Bette Midler while taking the audience through the soundtrack to everyone's favorite tearjerker.

Stefanie Black (Scandal, House of Lies) and Tom DeTrinis (Prom Night, 30 Minute Musicals) play a pair of redheaded twins with their sites set on fame - or at least getting through the evening with their relationship (if not their dignity) intact.

"A Day at The Beaches" is created by Stefanie Black and Tom DeTrinis, written by Stefanie Black and Kate Sullivan Gibbens. It features direction by Kate Sullivan Gibbens and music direction and accompaniment by Zach Spound. It plays The Three Clubs in Hollywood on January 18th at 8pm (doors at 7pm). Tickets ($10online $12 at the door) available at www.adayatthebeaches.brownpapertickets.com.
