The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills today announced it has selected four outstanding new television programs to be featured in the 2017 PaleyLive Spring Season. These four star-studded PaleyLive LA events highlight the cast and creative teams of new and highly anticipated series including: FOX's new thrilling event series Prison Break; the new groundbreaking ABC comedy series Speechless; the CW's teen soap Riverdale; and the ABC musical of Dirty Dancing.

PaleyLive programs are known for offering television fans the rare opportunity to engage with the cast and creative teams of their favorite programs in exclusive events held at the beautiful Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. All PaleyLive programs are selected by the Paley Center to not only expand society's understanding of the cultural, creative, and social significance of television, but also for their ability to educate and entertain the public.

Prison Break: Premiere Screening & Conversation

Wednesday, March 29 at 7:00 pm

In the new nine-part event series Prison Break, original series stars are reunited for an all-new adventure spanning the globe and featuring the signature thrills and cliff-hangers that were hallmarks of the Golden Globe-nominated original series when it aired on FOX from 2005-2009. The Paley Center welcomes back members of the cast & creative team includingWentworth Miller (Michael Scofield); Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows); Sarah Wayne Callies (Sara Tancredi); Robert Knepper (T-Bag); Paul T. Scheuring, Creator & Executive Producer; Vaun Wilmott, Executive Producer; and Executive Producer, Michael Horowitz, who last appeared on the Paley stage in 2008; for this special screening and conversation in advance of the broadcast premiere on April 4 at 9:00 pm ET/PT.

Riverdale: Screening & Conversation

Thursday, April 27 at 7:00 pm

Riverdale, The CW and Warner Bros. Television's bold and addictive take on the iconic characters from the Archie Comics, has captured the attention of audiences and critics alike who have anointed it one of TV's newest breakout hits. These 21stcentury versions of Archie, Betty Veronica, and Jughead inhabit a world where darkness and danger bubbles just underneath their town's wholesome façade. The Paley Center welcomes the talented ensemble cast and creative team for screening and conversation including: KJ Apa (Archie Andrews); Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper); Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge);Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl Blossom); Marisol Nichols (Hermione Lodge); M?dchen Amick (Alice Cooper); Ashleigh Murray (Josie McCoy); Sarah Schechter, Executive Producer; Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Executive Producer; Jon Goldwater, Executive Producer; and additional guests to be announced.

An Evening with Speechless

Tuesday, May 9 at 7:00 pm

Speechless, ABC, ABC Studios, and Twentieth Century FOX Television's smart and funny family comedy, has won the affection of audiences and critics alike becoming one of hits of the new TV season. Speechless has also won well-deserved praise for its sensitive and in many ways groundbreaking portrayal of a family dealing with cerebral palsy. The Paley Center is delighted to welcome the gifted ensemble cast and creative team including Minnie Driver (Maya DiMeo); John Ross Bowie (Jimmy DiMeo); Mason Cook (Ray DiMeo); Micah Fowler (JJ DiMeo); Kyla Kenedy (Dylan DiMeo); Cedric Yarbrough (Kenneth); Scott Silveri, Creator & Executive Producer; Melvin Mar, Executive Producer; and Jake Kasdan, Executive Producer; for a premiere screening and conversation.

Dirty Dancing: The New ABC Musical Event

In celebration of the 1987 movie classic's 30th anniversary, Dirty Dancing, the global pop-cultural phenomenon, becomes an all-new three-hour filmed musical event with a stellar cast and creative team this season on ABC, produced by Lionsgate and Allison Shearmur Productions. The tender romance of Frances 'Baby' Houseman and Johnny Castle set during an unforgettable summer vacation in the Catskills is sure to delight a new generation of fans as well as ignite fond memories from the original classic. Dirty Dancing will feature the memorable songs from the original movie plus additional songs from the era that will showcase the dynamic musical talents of its ensemble cast. The Paley Center will present a premiere screening followed by a sure-to-be lively conversation with members of the cast including Abigail Breslin, Bruce Greenwood, Nicole Scherzinger, Colt Prattes, and Katey Sagal, in advance of the ABC Television Network TV premiere on May 24.
