Los Angeles cabaret performer Keri Kelsey brings her latest show, "Darin' To Do Bobby" to the Arthur Newman Theater in the Joslyn Center onSunday, September 8, 2013 at 2 PM. The show is done as a tribute to one of show business's favorite entertainers, Bobby Darin, whose career spanned several decades with recordings, stage, television and films. Keri will combine Darin's endless hits with stories of his career and personal life mixed with how his music has touched her own life and performance style as well.

Besides a singer and actress, Keri also has been a shopping network spokeswoman, and even a trapeze artist, but she is mostly associated with her weekly hostess duties at the Tuesday night cabaret open mic at the Gardenia in Los Angeles, which has been running for over 10 years. Keri has close ties here in the desert as well, with her mother living in Palm Springs and being a long-time friend of series producer Les Michaels. Joining Keri will be musical director John Boswell on the baby grand.

"Darin' To Do Bobby" starring Keri Kelsey with accompaniment by Musical Director John Boswell on piano, will be presented at 2 PM on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Arthur Newman Theater in The Joslyn Center, 73750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert as part of the Sundays In Summer Series from Les Michaels Life Is A Cabaret Entertainment. Tickets are $10 cash only and available at the box office, which opens at 1 PM before the show. For any question please call 760-325-2731.
