The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association announced today that José González will perform a second concert with yMusic at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Saturday, March 12. This concert is in addition to the previously scheduled sold-out concert on March 11.

One of today's most remarkable songwriters, with a crystal-clear singing voice and vibrant, classically-inspired guitar playing, José González pulls from folk, pop and an array of world music traditions to build songs that are powerful, haunting, and intimate. Joining González is inventive classical ensemble yMusic who unveil all new chamber ensemble arrangements. These concerts mark both González' and yMusic's debuts at the iconic venue.

The show originally scheduled for Saturday, March 12, Todo Cambia: The Rebel Spirit of Mercedes Sosa, has been cancelled because two of the featured artists, León Gieco and Gustavo Santaolalla are unavailable. Of the cancellation, Gieco's spokesperson commented, "Strictly for reasons of health and recovery, due to an operation, León Gieco cannot perform on March 12," and Santaolalla "cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances." The concert will be rescheduled in an upcoming season TBD.
