Sludikoff has spent the last 4 years performing solo pieces ranging from her 2014 Fringe Hit, That's What She Didn't Say: A True Story of Taboo, Redemption, and Musical Theatre to last fall's Backwards: A Comedy About Trauma. After a sold-out fringe run, TWSDS played in Hollywood Stag, Solo Fest, IOWest's Funny Women Festival, and United Solo in NYC! Bonnie is stoked to be back at Hollywood Fringe with a hilarious and interactive show where audiences get to explore a serious topic in a lighthearted and innovative fashion.
The Magic School Bus: A Traumedy takes audience members on a wild and zany Field Trip into Bonnie's body. After being shrunKen Down to the size of cells, audience members will get to find out what's going on inside Bonnie, a trauma-survivor. In lieu of a serious and academic discussion, theatre-goers will learn about what happens to our bodies under stress via several interactive aids including Nerf guns, bubbles, and slime. Get your parents to sign your permission slip, and we'll see you at Hollywood Fringe!
Once again under the direction of Jessica Lynn Johnson, Bonnie is excited to be part of this amazing community of storytellers and solo artists! As you may be able to see from the running theme of her previous solo shows, Bonnie is most passionate about creating a dialogue about important topics in an entertaining and innovative way.
The Magic School Bus: A Traumedy is being produced by That's What She Didn't Say- a local non-profit campaign dedicated to creating healthy conversations about topics deemed taboo, challenging, or "off-limits."
