Dame Helen Mirren to Present on Oscar Show

Academy Award®-winning actress Helen Mirren will be a presenter for the 83rd Academy Awards®, telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer announced today.

Mirren has been nominated for an Oscar four times and won once. She took home the Oscar in 2006 for her leading performance in "The Queen." Mirren received a nomination in 2009 for her leading performance in "The Last Station" and she received nominations for her supporting performances in 1994 for "The Madness of King George" and for "Gosford Park" in 2001. Her other film credits include "The Mosquito Coast," "Some Mother's Son," "Calendar Girls," "State of Play," "Red" and "The Tempest."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2010 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide.
