Direct from critically acclaimed runs in London's West End and the Edinburgh Festival, CATWALK CONFIDENTIAL, Robyn Peterson's one woman show about her life as a super model in the 1970's, will have a special fundraiser performance on March 3, a benefit for AGENDA FOUNDATION.

Directed by Tony Abatemarco, CATWALK CONFIDENTIAL is part fairy-tale, part memoir, and part romance. Funny, cautionary and at times moving, the show tells the story of 16- year-old Robyn, fresh from Miami, who gets caught up in the world of high fashion on the boulevards of Paris in the early 1970s. Grand couturier houses were in free fall, drugs were on the table and riots were in the streets.

Peterson became one of the top models of the period, working with photographers such as Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin and designers Karl Lagerfeld, and Yves Saint Laurent . Her face appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire. Amidst this whirlwind life of glamour, sex and drugs, she discovers there is one thing to fear above all else: "AGE"!

"From the moment Robyn brought me her treasure trove of writings on her life in the fashion business, and backed those stories up with trunks of vintage photographs taken by some of the world's premiere photographers for the very best magazines, I knew we had struck gold," says Abatemarco. "And she can act! A director's dream."

The performance is a benefit for AGENDA FOUNDATION, a 501c3 organization dedicated to providing opportunities for foster care you in Los Angeles. The foundation's primary focus is to offer Los Angeles area foster youth an outlet to express their thoughts, feelings, and perceptions of their world through filmmaking.

Founder Kaylene Peoples says, "Agenda Foundation (The Young Filmmakers Project) is more than just a filmmaking initiative. It will provide training and education that will create transferable skills to youth as they age out of the foster care system-skills that will assist participants in their quest in accessing higher education, greater employment, and life opportunities."

"I am delighted that CATWALK CONFIDENTIAL will play a part in helping to spread the word, not only about Agenda Foundation, but about the unspoken world of modeling," says Peoples. "This is a must-see performance for anybody who wants to learn from those who have lived it and managed to survive it!"

Robyn Peterson's theater credits include originating the role of Linda in Eric Bogosian's original production of Talk Radio at Joseph Papp's Public Theater in New York. Her film and television credits include The Sopranos, L.A. Law, Mike Hammer, Baby Boom, View from the Top, and Pretty Woman.

The show performs at the AGENDA LOFT, a performance and fashion venue in the old bank district in downtown LA. There is a wine reception at 7:00PM with a performance following. Tickets are $50. A limited number of students tickets are available for $25. Call 323.868.1352 for reservations or more information.
