Life in L.A. just got that much better with the announcement of some talented theater folks taking their act into the night with summertime concerts at two of California's most legendary outdoor venues.

The Greek Theater, nestled in the heart of Griffith Park will feature performances by Huey Lewis (late of "Chicago") and his group "The News," coincidentally sharing the bill with the pop group Chicago! The lineup also includes a Southland return for the ever 'popular' Kristin Chenoweth, Michael Feinstein and Linda Eder.

Under the stars over at the Hollywood Bowl, look for an all-star cast to tackle a staged reading of the Billy Wilder film noir classic, "Sunset Boulevard," and a full-fledged Broadway caliber staging of "The Sound of Music," choreographed by "A Chorus Line's" Kay Cole and starring the just announced Melissa Errico as Maria. Past Bowl musical presentations have included such crowd favorites as "Camelot," featuring Jeremy Irons and Errico, Michele Lee and Christine Ebersole in "Mame," John Lithgow and Errico as "My Fair Lady" and Chenoweth and Eric McCormack in "The Music Man."
