The Hollywood, CA company begins their "Great Writers" season on November 20, with the smash-hit one-man comedy THE SANTALAND DIARIES by David Sedaris, directed by Michael Matthews. It will be followed by the West Coast Premiere of WHY TORTURE IS WRONG, AND THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEM by Christopher Durang, directed by Daniel Henning. The Blank then presents the West Coast Premiere of SEE WHAT I WANNA SEE a musical by Michael John LaChiusa, also directed by Daniel Henning. This season will be presented at two different Hollywood theatres, The Blank's 2nd Stage Theatre on Theatre Row and the Stella Adler Theatre on Hollywood Blvd & Highland. Full descriptions of the Mainstage plays follow.

THE SANTALAND DIARIES by David Sedaris marks The Blank's return to the writer of THE BOOK OF LIZ (co-written with sister Amy), which played an historic year-long sold out run at The Blank in 2005-06.
