Cristina Pato in Concert with her Quartet will take part in Jazz at Staller Center at Stony Brook University on November 12, 2016 at 8:00 pm.

Enjoy a remarkable jazz night at Stony Brook University's Staller Center for the Arts. Pop star of the gaita in her native Spain, Ms. Pato and her quartet play a blend of jazz and Latin sounds on Saturday, November 12 at 8:00 pm in the Staller Center Recital Hall. The gaita is a version of the bagpipe from Pato's native region of Galicia, and Cristina Pato has been hailed as "one of the living masters of the Gaita." (The Wall Street Journal)

Recently returned from presenting the premiere of The Music of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma & The Silk Road Ensemble in Germany, Cristina Pato will be touring in China, Korea and Taiwan soon after performing with her quartet at Staller Center. Tickerts are $38 at stallercenter.com or at (631) 632-ARTS [2787].
