Summit Theatre Group Presents Gala Tonight

The Summit Theatre Group will present a Gala evening of great food and great entertainment this evening, November 15th at the beautiful Emaline Ballroom, 616 SW 3rd street, in Lees Summit, the theatre group's annual fund-raiser. The Gala will be an evening of great food, great music, great fun and great performances; it is fast becoming one of Lees Summit's social highlights.

President of The Summit Theatre Group is Ben Martin and Vice President is James Wright - both veterans of the arts and both Lees Summit residents.

This is the Fifth Annual Gala for the community theatre group - the evening begins at 6 o'clock with a reception and silent auction - dinner buffet at 6:30 - and at 7:30 wonderful entertainment by singers, dancers, music from the coming theatre holiday production of "The Gifts of the Magi" and many other area performers - "The Gifts of the Magi" will play at the Emaline Ballroom, complete with an outstanding buffet dinner, December 4-5 and 6.

Tickets for the Summit Theater Group Gala are $75.00 (tables for 8 are $500) with a great evening of food, entertainment and music - all presented in Lees Summit style. Funds raised will be used by the theatre to present the 2015 show season, for production and related show expenses. The Summit Theatre Group is a 501-c-3 not-for-profit organization formed to bring live theatre to Lees Summit.
