Stephen Sondheim's landmark stage musical "FOLLIES" premieres this Friday evening April 18th and plays through Sunday matinee May 4th at The Barn Players, 6219 Martway in Mission. The musical has won eight Tony Awards and tells the story of the reunion of performers from "Weismann's Follies" being held in a crumbling Broadway theatre about to be torn down; featuring the all-time music and songs that have won our hearts.

"FOLLIES" is considered to be one of Sondheim's finest musicals with songs including such Broadway classics as: Broadway Baby, I'm Still Here, Losing My Mind, Rain On The Roof, Beautiful Girls, Could I leave You?, One More Kiss and a host of others. "FOLLIES" at The Barn Players is directed by Eric Magnus with musical direction by Tim Braselton. The show is rated "PG" and is sure to have audiences standing and cheering for more.

The Barn Players production of "Follies" features the largest cast ever assembled in the theatre's 59 year history and spot-lights some of the area's finest performers and singers.

There will not be a matinee on Easter Sunday, April 20th - it will be replaced by a special performance on Thursday evening, May 1st at 7:30. Regular performances Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30; Sunday matinees at 2:00 through May 4th.

Tickets are $18.00 and may be purchased on the theatre website www.thebarnplayers.org, by calling 1-800-838-3006, or at the box office the date of the performance; discounts for seniors and students.
