The Yokohama Theatre Group present the 2010 Cambridge University Shakespeare tour put on by the Pembroke Players. Previously, The Players presented THE TEMPEST last autumn. This time around they will present MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, one of Shakespeare's most popular comedies, on September 30th and October 1st. Love is lost and won as two of literature's most famous lovers (Benedick and Beatrice) square off against each other.

This year's production is being mounted in Yokohama's Nigiwai-za's Small Hall. Nigiwai-za is a Japanese comedy venue (their mainstage shows are mostly Rakugo and Mansai) near Sakuragicho station. Showtimes are at 19:00. Tickets are 3500 Yen for adults and 2000 Yen for students. There is also a student matinee at 14:30 on October 1. This matinee is ONLY for student groups. Tickets may be purchase online.

The Yokohame Theatre Group is dedicated to bringing world class English-language Theatre to the people of Yokohama, Tokyo, and all of Japan. Please visit their website, http://yokohama-theatre.com, for more information, especially about volunteering and donating.
