Fiona is back! Tony-winning stage and screen star Sutton Foster will return to Ball State University, where she holds an honorary doctorate, to co-direct the SHREK THE MUSICAL for the Department of Theatre and Dance this season.

Foster, who originated the role of Fiona in SHREK on Broadway in 2008, will co-direct alongside department chair Bill Jenkins.

Foster has a long-standing relationship with Ball State, having taught master classes and workshops in Muncie since 2006. She gave the spring commencement address in 2012.

The actress, currently leading TV Land's "Younger" with a featured role in Netflix's "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life," is starring in an extended run in SWEET CHARITY Off-Broadway.

Two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster is well known for her roles in Broadway's VIOLET, ANYTHING GOES, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (which she also directed at Ball State in 2012) and THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE.
