The Texas Repertory Theatre Co., Houston's Uptown Classic Theatre, concludes its 11th Anniversary "Emerging Visions" Season with THE ALL NIGHT STRUT!, a musical review of 1930's and 40's songs, running 4 performances a week through July 31st.

A classy, sassy musical celebration of the 1930s and 40s, The All Night Strut! struts its stuff in a two act extravaganza of the way things were during the depression, World War II and the post war boom... From the funky jive of Harlem to the sophisticated elegance of El Morocco and the romance of the Stage Door Canteen, this is an evening filled with jazz, blues, bebop and classic songs. An international hit, The All Night Strut! has delighted audiences old and young with its sublime music and sheer hip-cat energy. The show's songbook features over 20 of the era's greatest hits, including "Minnie The Moocher", "In The Mood", "Crazy Rhythm", "Hit That Jive, Jack" and "As Time Goes By".

The Texas Repertory Theatre production of The All Night Strut! features Ragan Richardson, Mason Butler, Jenna Malisheski, LaKaiya Evans, Chioke Coreathers, and Thomas Williams under the musical direction of Debbie Wylie.

Remaining THE ALL NIGHT STRUT! performances are at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30; and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 31 at The Texas Repertory Theatre Co., 14243 Stuebner Airline Road. For more information, please call 281-583- 7573 or visit texreptheatre.org.
