The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, announces its roster of films for December, January, and February, with highlights including MAYA ANGELOU: AND STILL I RISE, offering a profile of a truly inspiring woman, the 24th Houston Iranian Film Festival, and Academy Award-nominated short film programs.

New releases include GIRL ASLEEP, a debut feature by Australian director Rosemary Myers vibrantly portraying the depths of the teenage mind; FIRE AT SEA (Fuocoammare), a documentary about the immigration crisis as experienced on the Italian island of Lampedusa and winner of the Golden Bear at the 2016 Berlin International Film Festival; DON'T CALL ME SON, an examination of family dynamics; and more.
