Sometimes we, as human beings, are so trapped between the hurt from our past and the utterly overwhelming nature of how to move forward into our future that we are frozen, locked in place, unable to see a way out of the dark, unable to connect with those we love most. Kathleen Tolan's Memory House captures that moment in time, that frozen moment for mother and daughter Maggie and Katia. It's heartbreaking, real, and even funny in its portrayal of this relationship. Main Street Theater's production is the regional premiere ofMemory House.

With previews January 12, 13, and 16, Memory House opens January 17 and runs through February 10 at Main Street Theater - Rice Village, 2540 Times Blvd. Performances are on Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are $20 - $36 (previews are $10), depending on date and section, and are on sale in person at the Main Street Theater Box Office, 2540 Times Blvd., via phone at 713.524.6706, or online at MainStreetTheater.com.
