CSz Houston to Premiere Fully Improvised Show IMPROV! THE MUSICAL

Award-winning improv group ComedySportz Houston (CSz-Houston) is bringing the world of musical comedy and improv together with IMPROV! THE MUSICAL - a fully improvised musical.

The group has been recognized as "Best Comedy Club" by Living Magazine -Memorial Edition; "Houston's Best Live Comedy Show" by Click2Houston.com; "Top Houston-Area Entertainment Venues" by Houston Business Journal; "Best Comedy Club" by Houston Press; "Ultimate Houston Award" by Houston Chronicle; and "Best Comedy Club" by Great Day Houston.

Houston's first fully improvised musical! That's right, everything is made up on the spot! The storyline, the music and the choreography is all inspired by the name of the musical - which is provided by you! Performing on a limited run! Adult situations and content. Guests 16 and younger must be accompanied by a parent.

The show opens on Friday, February 12th at 10:30pm and then will be showing on the second and fourth Thursdayof every month at 8:00pm after that, including Thursday, February 25th.

"Bringing a fully improvised musical show to the stage has been something we have wanted to since we took over," said Benji Cooksey, new owner and general manager of CSz Houston as of September 2015. "We think it is going to be a great compliment to ComedySportz and are excited to have the Queensbury Theatre as our home to debut this show. We think it will really open up the world of improv comedy to a new audience"

CSz Houston is the parent theatre of ComedySportz, Houston's longest running comedy show, which has been entertaining Houstonians for over 25 years. ComedySportz runs every Friday and Saturday at 8pm at the Queensbury theatre located at 12777 Queensbury Ln.
