A. D. Players announces that The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe will open December 2 and run through December 23, 2014 on their Grace Theater stage, as the first show of the company's 2014-2015 Children's Theater season. Peter and his youngest sister, Lucy, spin their tale of how they stumbled upon a wonderful new land while fulfilling an important prophecy. Good ultimately triumphs over evil, and important lessons in responsibility and greed are explored. In this inventive and highly theatrical adaptation of C.S. Lewis' classic, two actors give a captivating, multi-character performance that's sure to delight children and adults alike.

The cast of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe includes A. D. Players' resident actor William S. Burke and guest artist Leslie Lenert.
The production team features scenic design by Robin Gillock, lighting design by Nikki Johnson, properties design by Trisha Wise, costume design by Patty Tuel Bailey, and sound design by Orlando Arriaga. Directed by Will Ledesma.

SHOWTIMES: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe runs December 2 - December 23, 2014. Performances are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 10:30am. There will be one Saturday Matinee on December 6 at 1:00pm, as well as two special holiday performances, Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23 at 10:30am. *Preview performance is Tuesday, December 2 at 7:00pm.*

Following each performance, the audience is invited to stay and visit with the cast and creative team about the play.
