Troupe D'jour wins BITS Tournament at Go Comedy! 8/10

The 2nd Annual Bailout Improv Tournament Spectacular (BITS) came to an exciting conclusion Wednesday, August 10 at Go Comedy! Improv Theater when Troupe D'jour became the winners of the tournament's $1001 grand prize. The troupe's exciting win also kicked off the start of Spontaneous Combustion Motor City Detroit's improv festival which continues this weekend.

Troupe D'Jour is: Cosimo D'Aleo (Macomb Twp), Aaron Flohr (Northville), Nina Gugglielmetti (Sterling Heights) and Harry Moroz (Northville).

From an original field of 16, Man Hands & Troupe D'jour competed Wednesday night to win audience votes during two sold out performances. Having won the tournament, Troupe D'jour has also won the Wednesday 9pm time slot with 2010 winner Baby LeRoy for the remainder of August and the month of September at Go Comedy!.

This weekend, Troupe D'jour will headline the 7pm closing show of Spontaneous Combustion Motor City, Detroit's improv festival. A complete festival performance schedule is available online at www.spontaneouscombustionmotorcity.com.
