Basement Arts presents THE WHALE by Samuel D. Hunter, directed by Madeline Rouverol, on Thursday, November 3rd at 7PM & 11PM and Friday, November 4th at 8PM & 11PM at Walgreen Drama Center, Studio One. Running time: Two hours, plus one ten-minute intermission.

 

"Do you ever get the feeling. That people. Are incapable. Of not caring? People. Are. Amazing."

A six hundred pound recluse, hiding away from the world and slowly eating himself to death, is given one last chance at redemption.

 

THE WHALE is Assistant Directed by Catherine Audette - Stage Managed by Eleanor Howell-Shryock - Costume Designed by Phoenix Vavzincak - Lighting Designed by Samantha Weiser.

The cast features Luke Jackson (Charlie), Emma Boyden (Liz), Kay Kelley (Ellie), Liam Allen (Elder Thomas), and Kathleen Taylor (Mary).
