Hickory Corners, Mich. - If you're like most people, you may have cabin fever, be yearning for spring or looking for something fun and unique to do in honor of Valentine's Day. One very popular annual event that is certain to help is "A Pint with the Past" at the Gilmore Car Museum. This Michigan-made craft beer tasting event and museum fundraiser is held (Northeast of Kalamazoo) at the Museum in Hickory Corners.

DRAFT Magazine recently listed "A Pint with the Past," held at North America's Largest Auto Museum, as one of the top 101 best "bucket list" beer experiences in the world.

The magazine went on to state, "It's probably the only place to drink a Michigan-brewed beer alongside an ultra-rare Tucker '48 Sedan - unless you have one parked in the garage."

At this event guests will stroll past a Gatsby-era Rolls-Royce, Duesenberg or Auburn as over a dozen Michigan breweries will have tasting stations mixed throughout the exhibit galleries and among the cars.

Those attending "A Pint with the Past" will have the opportunity to sample craft brews from a dozen Michigan breweries, enjoy hors d'oeuvres and live music by the BIG BOSS BLUES band and guitarist Nathan Douglas, all while mingling amongst nearly 300 incredible automobiles, including the all-new special exhibition showcasing the rarest and most sought-after sports cars.

The Gilmore Car Museum has teamed up to feature some of Michigan's most popular brewers including Crankers, Gonzo's and Rochester Mills. Green Door Distillery will also be part of the "A Pint with the Past" evening, which runs from 7pm to 10pm on Saturday, February 11th, is open to those 21 and older, and makes a perfect Valentine's event.

Advance tickets are $35 each via the Museum's website (GilmoreCarMuseum.org) or $40 at the door. A souvenir Gilmore Car Museum logo pint glass will be given with each of the first 300 tickets sold. New this year is a $20 Designated Driver admission ticket for those not partaking in the brew tasting portion of the evening's festivities.

The Gilmore Car Museum is located northeast of Kalamazoo on M-43 at Hickory Road, just five miles north of Richland. For more information visit GilmoreCarMuseum.org.
