Singer, musician and composer, Michelle Monet will appear at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret on Sunday, August 16th at 7:30 p.m. in her show entitled, "SHE, Streisand & ME, Monet - The Journey of Michelle Monet to Barbra & Back." The nightclub is located in the historic D&F Clock Tower at 1601 Arapahoe Street in Denver. Tickets are $20.

After being discovered in Las Vegas in the 1980s, Monet was propelled into a successful performing career as a Streisand impersonator which took her on U.S. tours and to cities around the world for years. Her uncanny physical resemblance to Streisand and her vocal impersonation made her a hit with audiences. For Michelle's show at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret, she will NOT be donning her Streisand attire or wig, but will treat the audience with a tribute to Barbra in song, featuring such chart toppers as, "People," "Don't Rain on My Parade," "The Way We Were," and more. Monet will also share stories about her life on the road playing Streisand and entertain the audience with some of her original music.

Monet received rave reviews for her Streisand impersonation including, "If you closed your eyes, you could swear it was Streisand herself." - Lake Tahoe Times. Michelle is not only a singer/performer, an accomplished composer, and guitarist she is also a mixed media artist who was featured in a PBS show entitled, "Creative License."
