Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS Opens 11/24 at The Arvada Center

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will open Irving Berlin's White Christmas directed by Gavin Mayer on Tuesday, November 24 at 7:30 p.m. The musical will run through December 23 in the Main Stage Theatre. Previews are November 20 - 22 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Please note: There will not be a performance on Thursday, November 26 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The performance has been moved to Sunday, November 29 at 7:30 p.m. Additional performances have been added December 20 at 7:30 p.m., December 22 and 23 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Talkbacks will be offered Friday, December 4 after the 7:30 p.m. performance and Wednesday, December 9 after the 1:00 p.m. performance. Ticket prices start at $53. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, they follow two sisters to a Vermont lodge where they are performing in a Christmas show. This sentimental musical is filled with Christmas cheer, wonderful dance numbers and some of the greatest songs ever written, including "Blue Skies", "Happy Holiday", "Sisters", "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm" and the unforgettable title song, "White Christmas". Irving Berlin's White Christmas is a must see for the holidays and guaranteed to fill your entire family with the joy of the season.

The cast features Ben Michael (Bob Wallace), Cody Williams (Phil Davis), Lauren Shealy (Betty Haynes), Erica Sweany (Judy Haynes), Paul Page (General Henry Waverly), Sharon Kay White (Martha Watson) and Nathan Stith (Ralph Sheldrake). The ensemble includes Piper Lindsay Arpan, Rae Leigh Case, Heather Doris, MAddie Franke, Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck, Tim Howard, Andrew Keeler, Matt LaFontaine, Debbie McCasland, David Miller, Logan Scott Mitchell, Elliot Peterson, Tim Roller, Johnny Stewart, Seles VanHuss, P. Tucker Worley, and Darcey Keating and Darrow Klein alternating the role of Susan.

In addition to director Gavin Mayer, the creative team includes David Nehls (musical director), Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck (choreographer), Brian Mallgrave (scenic design), Chris Campbell (costume design), Vance McKenzie (light design) and David Thomas (sound design).
