Glenn Seven Allen to Play 'Sir Lancelot' in Arvada Center's CAMELOT

The Arvada Center Artistic Producer and Camelot show Director, Rod A. Lansberry has announced the role of Sir Lancelot will now be played by New York actor Glenn Seven Allen. Lansberry said, "The Arvada Center is proud to bring the talents of Mr. Allen to our production of Camelot and to our Arvada audiences." Allen will join the company when rehearsals begin on August 20.

A Broadway veteran, Allen's credits include The Light in the Piazza (Lincoln Center Theatre), Carousel (Avery Fisher Hall), Girl Crazy (City Center Encores), Casino Paradise (Lincoln Center-American Songbook) and A Fine and Private Place (York Theater). He will make his debut at the Arvada Center when Camelot opens on September 10.

The remaining cast features David Bryant Johnson (Arthur), Melissa Mitchell (Guenevere), William Thomas Evans (Merlyn, King Pellinore), Aaron M. Davidson (Mordred), Jennifer DeDominici (Nimue), Jeffrey Roark (Sir Dinadan), Michael Bouchard (Sir Sagramore), Matt LaFontaine (Sir Lionel), Megan Van de Hey (Morgan Le Fey) Brady Dalton and Nate Patrick Siebert (alternating the role Tom of Warwick).

Ensemble members are Stephen Day, Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck, Karen M. Jeffreys, Heather Lacy, Daniel Langhoff, Ian McCauley, Rebekah Ortiz, Parker Redford, Lauren Shealy, Jacob Lewis Smith, Bethany Swiontek, Rachel Turner and Benjamin Wood.

In addition to director Rod A. Lansberry, the creative team includes David Nehls (musical director), Kitty Skillman Hilsabeck (choreographer), Pat Payne (assistant to the director), Brian Mallgrave (scenic design), Clare Henkel (costume design), Jane Spencer (light design), David Thomas (sound design), Benaiah Anderson (fight director) and Meghan Markiewicz (props mistress).

Camelot opens the 2013-14 Season and will run in the Main Stage Theater September 10-29, 2013. Previews are September 6-8 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Talkbacks will be offered Friday, September 20 after the 7:30 p.m. show and Wednesday, September 25 after the 1:00 p.m. show.
