BWW Reviews: Ms. Dixie Returns to Denver for a Hoot and a Holler of Hilarity in DIXIE'S TUPPERWARE PARTY!
Back by popular demand, Denver's favorite fast-talking lady returns with her fabulous Tupperware to charm the money out of your wallets and sell her favorite wares at the Garner Galleria Theatre now through April 20th. DIXIE'S TUPPERWARE PARTY stars Dixie Longate, who has packed up her catalogues and left her children in an Alabama trailer park to journey across America. Critics and audiences have howled with laughter as Dixie throws a good ol' fashioned Tupperware Party filled with outrageously funny tales, heartfelt accounts, FREE giveaways, audience participation and the most fabulous assortment of Tupperware ever sold on a theater stage. Loaded with the most up-to-date products available for purchase, Ms. Longate will share how she became the number one Tupperware seller in the world as she educates her guests on the many alternative uses she has discovered for her plastic products.
First and Foremost (and I cannot stress this enough) - This Really is a Tupperware Party!!! Believe me, I should know - I just spent over a hundred dollars when I saw this funny and charming sales extraordinaire! Dixie brings all of her Southern sassy and trashy ways to make this a night that audiences will never forget! She was a magnetic ball of energy and charm, her comedic timing was spot on and she was wonderfully interactive. I adored her naughty humor and suggestive selling that was completely scandalicious and fall out of your chair funny. In addition to her hilarious interaction with the audience, she also presented a nice bit of history on tupperware and this show was a great homage to the craft and feminism.
Remember - it's all about the party, so have fun!
