Playhouse South, A Community Theater continues its 50th Anniversary season with the teenage comedy, And Never Been Kissed. Performances are April 23-25, and April 30-May 1, 2010 (Fr-Su). Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:00 pm and the Sunday performance is 2:00 pm.

Flory Patterson is almost sixteen and never been kissed. Not for lack of trying, as Flory devotes every moment to attracting the opposite sex in this teenage comedy set in 1929, Involved in the proceedings are Flory's best friend, her understanding Mother, her matter-of-fact little sister and the sister's equally matter-of-fact friend, and of course the boys: disdainful Charlie, unattainable Douglas, eager Gilmore, and finally the divine Phillip. It's fast pace, clever dialog and unusual situations are hilarious and you will truly enjoy this true to life flapper comedy.

Local talent for this production includes Hannah Wilson as Flory, Stephanie Schubert as Millie, Cameron Elliot as Gilmore and Caroline Grogan as Mavy. The cast also includes Brett Norgaard, John Hambrick, Megan Roesch, Alyssa Jackson, Torie Vonderbrink, and Jeremy King. The adults rounding out the cast are Samantha Rucker as Mrs. Patterson and Titus Wolverton as Mr. Peabody.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (over 60) and $7 for students. For more information and reservations, please call the Box Office at 888-262-3792 or visit www.playhousesouth.org
