Jason Robert Brown's musical play The Last Five Years, at Lakeland Community College's Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst Performing Arts Center between September 16 and October 2, 2016 for a total of 12 performances.

Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown's ground breaking musical features actors Neely Gevaart and Jason Leupold under the music direction of Jordon Cooper and director Martin Friedman.

Should we start at the beginning or begin at the end? The Last Five Years takes an intimate look at the life and death of a marriage from two perspectives. While Cathy rewinds the relationship from break up to their first meeting, Jamie relives their five years together from meeting to breakup. Told almost completely through song, this Drama Desk Award-winner for Outstanding Music and Lyrics is an unconventional glance into love and life compartmentalized.

The Last Five Years opens on Friday, September 16 at 7:30 p.m. and runs three weekends. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 pm while Sunday matinees start at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for seniors and $7 for all students. Call 440.525.7134 for ticket information or they can be ordered online at lakelandcc.edu/arts.
