Pulse is a new theatre company founded by Columbia College Chicago Alumni, Aaron Mitchell Reese (Artistic Director) and Christopher Jackson (Producing Artistic Director), whose mission is to ambitiously tell stories with a unique outlook and visceral honesty to the human experience. Pulse looks to reverently break out of the convention and barriers of archetypes and provide an artistically progressive environment for its collaborators and audiences alike.

Reese, a Joseph Jefferson Award Nominee, is at the helm of the social satire about an ambitious and haughty African-American woman, Undine Barnes Calles (AnJi White). Undine's husband, Hervé (Jose T. Naterus III), suddenly disappears after embezzling all of her money. Pregnant and on the brink of social and financial ruin, Undine retreats to her childhood home in Brooklyn's Walt Whitman projects, only to discover that she must cope with a crude new reality. Undine faces the challenge of transforming her setbacks into small victories in a battle to reaffirm her right to be. FABULATION is a comeuppance tale with a comic twist.

FABULATION Features Ian Deanes, Jalyn Nicole Greene, Barry Irving, Darren Jones, Lewis R. Jones, Jose Nateras,Camille Robinson, Lyndsey Schaffer, Tonya Simmons, Alexis Willis and AnJi White as Undine Barnes Calles.
