Three deaf persons are born into hearing families, thrust into a hearing world. They face three different ways of dealing with the same challenge: How can I communicate? ?¡¿QUIÉN TE ENTIENDE?! is a bilingual (Mexican Sign Language and spoken Spanish,) narrative theatre, based upon the actual testimonies of three deaf inhabitants of Mexico City and is also accessible to English speaking audiences. The show is being hosted at the Ware Center, 42 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA tonight, April 11 at 7:30 pm.

In a cozy kitchen, three good friends -two of whom are deaf, the other one Hearing-spend an evening telling stories about three other deaf friends who are on their way to join them. Their amazing stories -some comical, others shocking, all real-introduce the audience to a fascinating culture virtually unknown to most.

Seña y Verbo is a professional artistic and educational organization that aims to create awareness and support the development of deaf culture in Mexico, through original theater and video productions, as well as a variety of courses, workshops and outreach programs. Since its foundation, in 1993, Seña y Verbo has achieved international recognition for its high-quality theatre and for the impact it has had on Mexico's deaf community. The company has toured China, Central América, Germany, Brazil, Austria, Venezuela, the United States and Canada, in addition to frequent tours all throughout Mexico and more than 2500 representations in Mexico City.
