Hudson Stage Company to Present THE GOD GAME, 10/10-25
Hudson Stage Company announces its fall production of a thrilling new play, THE GOD GAME, by Suzanne Bradbeer (FULL BLOOM, HSC's inaugural production in 2000) to be its first mainstage show in its new home at Whippoorwill Hall Theatre, North Castle Public Library, 19 Whippoorwill Road, Armonk, NY. Director is Giovanna Sardelli (HSC's world premiere of James McLindon's SALVATION). Producers Denise Bessette, Dan Foster and Olivia Sklar.
When a popular, moderate Senator is tapped to serve as the running mate for a conservative Presidential candidate, his life takes a major turn. As an agnostic, he is asked to appear more "Christian" for an appealing ticket. Will he or won't he lie on the campaign trail in order to get the job? This poses a dilemma for his marriage and asks the ethical question: Does the public have the right to know everything about a candidate's private beliefs?
Hudson Stage looks forward to its residency at the lovely, intimate 186 seat theatre, located right in the charming village of Armonk with easy access to terrific local restaurants.
Previews Friday, October 10th, opens Saturday, October 11th and runs weekends only through Saturday, October 25th. Assigned seating tickets available as of 9/1/14 (at a reduced service charge to the customer) from $30.00 for seniors/students-$35.00 general admission.
