Get ready for the British Invasion redux as Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone take the stage at the Paramount Center For The Arts on Friday, November 11th.

Peter Noone has been delighting audiences nearly all his life. Born in Manchester, England, where he studied voice and acting, Noone played "Stanley Fairclough" in the long-running British soap opera Coronation Street. At the age of fifteen, Noone achieved international fame as "Herman", the lead singer of the legendary 1960s pop band, Herman's Hermits. Their classic hits include: "I'm Into Something Good", "Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter", "I'm Henry VIII, I Am", "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat" and "There's A Kind of Hush". Ultimately, Herman's Hermits sold over sixty million records. In all, fourteen singles and seven albums went gold and they were twice named Cashbox's "Entertainer of the Year".

As "Herman", the Noone graced the cover of nearly every international publication, including Time Magazine. He performed on hundreds of top-rated television programs and appeared with such luminaries as Ed Sullivan, Jackie Gleason, Dean Martin and Danny Kaye. He also starred in ABC's musical version of The Canterville Ghost, HallMark Hall of Fame's presentation of the classic Pinocchio (in which he played the title role) and three feature films: Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter, Hold On! and When The Boys Meet The Girls.

Noone's special guest for the evening is Hit Parade Hall of Fame Inductee Lou christie, who's chart topping, multi-million selling career as a songwriter, recording artist, and performer started in a two-track studio in Glenwillard Pennsylvania, his rural hometown near Pittsburgh. Christie's first million selling song, "The Gypsy Cried", transformed a local choirboy into a national teen idol, while still a teenager himself. Christie followed this success with "Two Faces Have I", "Lightning Strikes", "Rhapsody in the Rain" and "I'm Gonna Make You Mine".
