Very Intense Productions and Your Theatrics | Jeremy Youett and Jacob Harvey present RSO FEST, a series of concerts showcasing the scores of three new musicals by composer Ryan Scott Oliver. RSO FEST launches at New York's premier Supper Club, 54 Below (254 West 54th Street, NYC), tonight October 7th with 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (produced in association with Tony Award winning producer John Johnson), followed by Darling on Monday November 4 (produced in association with Grammy Award winner Kurt Deutsch and Sh-k-boom) and finallyJasper in Deadland completing the trilogy on Monday November 18 (produced in association with Prospect Theatre Company).

They say a picture is worth 1,000 words--what about a song? Can a picture inspire a song or fifteen? In 35mm, each photo creates an unique song from a moment frozen in time. This intricately woven collection of stories told through song, re-imagines what the modern American musical can be.

The one-night only presentation will bring together a sensational cast to bring Oliver's music to life. The evening is set to include Jenni Barber (The Nance), Nick Blaemire (Godspell, Dog Fight), Alex Brightman (Wicked, Big Fish), Ben Crawford (Big Fish), Drew Gasparini (Composer, Smash), Derek Klena (Dog Fight, Wicked), Zachary Levi (First Date), Lesli Margherita (Matilda The Musical), Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening), David Reiser (Good Vibrations), Krysta Rodriguez (First Date, The Addams Family), Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal), Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde),Katie Thompson (Giant) and Alysha Umphress (American Idiot). Rounding out as "the Quartet" are Ally Bonino, Max Chernin, Chris McCarrell, and Andrea Ross.

The band features Matt Hinkley, Steven Cuevas, Allison Seidner, Rich Silverstein, Joseph Wallace, and Jeremy Yaddaw. Lighting design by is KJ Hardy. Orchestrations and Vocal Arrangements are by Ryan Scott Oliver.

35mm premiered in New York in March of 2012 at the Galapagos Art Space starring Lindsay Mendez, Betsy Wolfe, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Ben Crawford and Alex Brightman, with an original cast recording on the Ghostlight label.

35mm: A Musical Exhibition in Concert, with Music and Lyrics by Ryan Scott Oliver, Based on Photographs by Matthew Murphy, and Directed By DB Bonds with Music Direction By Rich Silverstein. The show plays on Monday, October 7 at 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm.
