The Ziegfeld Society of New York City will present ZIEGFELD'S PUNCH BOWL OF 2016: A Tribute to George Gershwin on Saturday, February 20th.

The event will take place at Lang Recital Hall, Hunter College (69th Street between Park and Lexington Avenue), and tickets for the 3:30pm performance are now on sale.

Starring in the gala concert are Anna Bergman (A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC at The Kennedy Center), Shelly Burch (NINE, One Life to Live) Joan Copeland (PAL JOEY, TWO BY TWO), Marcy De Gonge Manfredi (PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, CATS), Diane J. Findley (FISH IN THE DARK), Merrill Grant (Submissions Only), Nathan Meyer, Whitney Meyer, Tony nominee Jane Summerhays (ME AND MY GIRL, A CHORUS LINE), and Tony nominee Walter Willison (GRAND HOTEL, TWO BY TWO), with musical direction by Executive Producer Mark York (JUST JIM DALE).

The concert, which honors George Gershwin who composed the scores for Ziegfeld's SHOW GIRL and ROSALIE, will feature performances of Gershwin classics including "By Strauss", "Do It Again", "He Loves and She Loves", "I've Got a Crush on You", "Liza", "Oh, Lady Be Good", "Someone to Watch Over Me", "Summertime", "They Can't Take That Away >From Me", with lyrics by his brother Ira Gershwin and others.

All proceeds benefit The Ziegfeld Society of New York City, a not-for-profit organization that aspires to enlighten, entertain and educate current and future generations of theatergoers and young artists about the legendary performers, songwriters and creators of our vast musical theater heritage. Monthly performances feature Broadway stalwarts performing alongside young up-and-coming artists as well as presentations by authors and screenings of lost film and television musicals.

Upcoming events include THE TILLER GIRLS, a transatlantic event featuring The Tiller Girls simulcast live from London's West End on March 12th. Josh Ellis' solo show CALL MY PUBLICIST on April 30th, and The Legacy 36 Dancers, A Line of Former Rockettes in LEGACY ON THE LINE: The Dancer's Journey to Becoming a Rockette on June 25th.
