54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Party Monster The Musical on Wednesday, August 27th at 9:30pm. This one night only presentation, hosted by downtown superstar Leo Gugu (Stylist/Nightlife Personality), will showcase the worldwide premiere of select songs from Party Monster The Musical. The new EDM (Electronic Dance Music) Musical is based on the memoir: Disco Bloodbath: A Fabulous but True Tale of Murder in Clubland by James St James, later renamed Party Monster. This 1999 memoir, nominated for the Edgar Award for best true-crime book of the year, chronicles St. James' life as a Manhattan celebutante and club kid. Blurring the lines between a traditional musical and a rock concert, the show examines two close friends, a group of followers and the consequences of self-indulgence with an all-original score composed by Brian Morey (I Am Hamlet) with book and lyrics by Matthew Neff (NYMF's Petrouchka).

The concert will feature performances by Joey Calveri (Rock of Ages), Julius Thomas III (Motown), Tracy McDowell (Motown), Laura Beth Wells (Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark), Tim Young (Next To Normal), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), John Michael Dias (Jersey Boys), Talia Thiesfield (Fox's The Following), Ryah Nixon (Beaches at Signature Theatre), Marissa Rosen (Big Gay Italian Wedding), Kyle Kleiboeker (USA's Summer Camp), Alan Shaw (Les Mis Nat.Tour), Corey Desjardins (Independents), Noah Zachary (Dear Edwina), Brad Greer (The Broadway Boys), Elizabeth Urbanczyk (Pride at 54 Below), Tina Jensen (The Glamazons), Eddie Cooper (Cinemax's Banshee), Nathaly Lopez (NYTW's What's It All About), Adriene Couvillion (Rock 'N Roll Debauchery) and Patrick Elliott (D.C. premiere of Altar Boyz).

The concert will be directed by Matthew Neff. Brian Morey will provide musical direction. Additional support from Bryan Campione (Broadway_Buzz) and Kevin Thomas Garcia Photography.

A medley of 4 original songs from the musical has been produced into a music video. Shot at Sandbox Studio NY, the video represents a glimpse of the developing full production. Click The Following Link To Watch the Video: https://vimeo.com/m/76111319
