Melinda Doolittle to Bring IT MUST BE LOVE to 54 Below, 3/18-20
Powerhouse vocalist and former American Idol Finalist, Melinda Doolittle, will premiere her latest live show "It Must Be Love" next month at New York's 54 Below. In an intimate evening featuring Melinda with her three-piece band, audiences can expect to see Doolittle as never before. Bringing her soulful tones and bright spirits in tow, Doolittle's latest offering runs the musical gamut from Blues to Broadway, reminding audiences why they fell in love with her on "America's Most Watched Stage". Miss Doolittle will appear for select performances on March 18th, 19th and 20th.
Melinda was last seen by New York audiences in 2011 in her critically acclaimed show "Love 101" at Feinstein's at Loews Regency. Doolittle's new show will include world premiere live performances of songs from her latest album "You're The Reason". As she dissects the topic of love from every angle, Doolittle boldly enters territory in both story and song like never before. Audiences will harken back to a time when "blues" and "soul" were more than just adjectives and learn what keeps Melinda on the journey through lyrics and life..."It Must Be Love".
