Erin Cross is known to bring a unique stylistic viewpoint to whatever she sings and this show at the Metropolitan Room on May 23 at 7pm will be no different when she puts a new sensuous twist on the 20th century classics.

As has been the way with artists such as Patsy Cline, Carole King and Linda Ronstadt, Erin has found her authentic voice despite a string of stops, starts and diversions. These artists also serve as Erin's inspiration through her artistic exploration.

Armed with not only a solid vocal foundation, Erin holds both a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music Education. Simply put, when Erin is not on the stage performing, you may walk into her classroom and find her working, or "performing" with her middle school students as Choral and Drama Director.

Although trained classically, Erin is very passionate about musical theatre and the music that moves her. Erin has studied tirelessly to execute the seamless vocal transition through not only classical repertoire and musical theatre, but jazz, pop and rock as well as other contemporary styles.

Erin allows her soul to speak through whatever music she sings, so join her and hear her speak to you the best way she knows how.
