Encore Performance of OOPS…I FELL IN LOVE! with Moira Danis Set for 6/14

Following her sell-out debut in March, Moira Danis returns to the Metropolitan Room with an encore presentation of her delightful new show, Oops...I Fell in Love! With songs from Broadway, the Great American Songbook and Top 40 radio, Moira spins a tale of first love, first heartbreak and second chances set to the spartkling arrangements of music director, Wells Hanley, under the assured direction of Bistro Award winner, Gerry Geddes.

The radiant talent which led to Moira's recent Bistro win for Outstanding Recording of the Year for her CD, Some People's Lives is on full display in this funny, passionate, intimate, moving story. This is her sixth collaboration with pianist/ arranger Hanley and their musical parnership is a joy to behold. Critics have said "...intelligence, sensitivity and lovely singing ", "...cabaret at its best", and "...will damn near levitate anyone who responds to excellence of song and singer." Come to the Metropolitan Room at noon on Saturday, June 14th and you are sure to agree!

Direction is done by Gerry Geddes, with music direction by Wells Hanley. The Metropolitan Room is located at 34 West 22nd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenue).
