Tony Award® nominee and Emmy Award® winner Liz Callaway (Cats, Merrily We Roll Along, Baby, Miss Saigon, The Look of Love), leads an ensemble that includes Doug Kreeger (Les Miserables, Rooms: A Rock Romance), Liz McCartney (South Pacific, Mamma Mia, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Phantom of the Opera), and Jennifer DiNoia (Wicked) as Dreamlight Theatre Company kicks off its 2010 Bright Lights concert series by celebrating the work Scott Burkell and Paul Loesel This one-night event will showcase work from both of their full length musicals (Ella Minnow Pea, The Extraordinary Ordinary) as well as a host of new material.
Scott Burkell and Paul Loesel's songs have been performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Joe's Pub, Symphony Space, The Kennedy Center, and the Chicago Humanities Festival. Their songs have been premiered by Kristin Chenoweth, Rebecca Luker, Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley, Stephanie J. Block, Susan Egan, and Liz Callaway. Recordings of their work appear on Marin Mazzie & Jason Danieley's album, "Opposite You", and Stephanie J. Block's "This Place I Know". Together they have written a musical review, Love Songs and Other Crap (MAC Award nomination), and two full-length musicals, Ella Minnow Pea and The Extraordinary Ordinary; the latter is currently being developed by Dreamlight Theatre Company.

Dreamlight Theatre Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a home for Musical Theatre. Now in their fourth season, they most recently produced the world premiere of Chris Miller & Nathan Tysen's Fugitive Songs - a production that earned them their very first Drama Desk nomination.
