Acclaimed composer/writer/performer David Yazbek will return to the stage at Joe's Pub with his remarkable band for the first time in four years. The concert will take place Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 7:30pm and will feature songs from Yazbek's album "Evil Monkey Man" on Ghostlight Records, plus new works and songs from his other albums and his recent Broadway show Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.  

Three-time Tony nominee, Grammy nominee, Emmy and Drama Desk winner, winner of the N.A.I.R.D. award for Best Album and writer of the unrelenting "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego" theme song, Yazbek will take to the stage at Joe's Pub to do what he does best: sing his own songs and punish the grand piano while stamping his right foot with great vigor. David Yazbek is a long-time cult favorite-a recording artist, vocalist and pianist known for his thrilling live performances and irreverent style. His Broadway shows The Full MontyDirty Rotten Scoundrels and Women on the Verge…  have played in over 20 countries. His first album, The Laughing Man, won the N.A.I.R.D.
