With the arrival of a two-disc studio recording of the complete Kander & Ebb score of And The World Goes Round from Kritzerland Records, there's reason to shout and sing out loud.Starring powerhouse vocalists Brent Barrett, Jason Graae, Christiane Noll, Kristin Towers-Rowles, Kyra DaCosta and musical director Joshua Eli Kranz, the discs offer more than two hours of simply sensational music.

It all started in 2013 when Kranz produced an acclaimed Equity waiver production of the show in NoHo. He and Towers-Rowles appeared on Michael Sterling's and Paul Stroili's State of the Arts radio show on LA Talk Radio to promote the show, when who called in from New York but John Kander, who expressed an interest in hearing a tape recording of the show. It seems that all other recordings of ...World are incomplete, so when Kranz suggested to Kander that they do a new recording, Kander replied, "Send it to me and we'll talk about it." The rest is history. It is now a brilliant recording from Bruce Kimmel and Kritzerland, one that everyone will want in their record collections, just in time for holiday shopping.

Disc One's highlights are: Christiane Noll's dazzling "Colored Lights", Jason Graae's deliciously amusing "Sara Lee", Towers-Rowles' hilariously engaging "Arthur in the Afternoon", Brent Barrett's beautiful "Sometimes A Day Goes By" in tandem with "I Don't Remember You", Kyra DaCosta's gorgeous "My Coloring Book" and Joshua Eli Kranz's lyrical rendition of "The Happy Time". Disc Two is equally pleasurable with Barrett's "Kiss of the Spiderwoman", Graae's "Marry Me", Rowers-Rowles' lovely "A Quiet Thing" and DaCosta and Noll bowling us over with Woman of the Year's "The Grass Is Always Greener". There are also six surprise bonus tracks by the band.

Instrumentally it's a pretty terrific sound throughout, as Kimmel held up production for several months just to rerecord backup instrumentals that he felt were necessary to make the recording perfect. Well, he succeeded as it is nothing short of sheer heaven!
