Noel Carey ("Murder for Two") and Julia Mattison ("Godspell," "How to Be Single") will present their new show "Wayward Brainchildren" at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater, January 13th at 9:30.

From the press notes: "Noel Carey and Julia Mattison have a lot of brainchildren and they're bringing them all on a family trip to Joe's Pub. Fresh off of winning the 2016 Streamy Award for Best Indie for their hit series Brooklyn Sound, this musical comedy duo is ready to share some brand new songs for upcoming projects, deep cuts from Brooklyn Sound, and perhaps a musical orphan or two that are still looking for a home. Grab you friends, awkwardly avoid your acquaintances, and make your way to Noel and Julia's home for Wayward Brainchildren."

Brooklyn Sound, Carey and Mattison's 2016 internet-based series about a failing recording studio, had its public festival premiere at the New York Television Festival in the Summer of 2016, earning Mattison Best Actress honors and the duo a development deal from Comedy Central.

"Wayward Brainchildren" is directed by Max Friedman ("Midnight at the Never Get," "Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band") and co-produced by David De Almo (Mike Birbiglia's "Thank God for Jokes," "Oh, Hello" Off-Broadway).

Tickets are $20 and are available HERE.
