Margot embraces and appreciates natural beauty, making her a role model to all women. "I went natural just over a year ago and am loving my natural curls. It took me a while to learn to love the natural me but now am embracing it," Margot said about her hair.

The Pittsburgh native began her career in front of the cameras at the age of nine, modeling for local and national talent agencies. It's been a steady accomplished rise ever since.

She has made a name for herself as the former National Miss Black Teen, the NYC Off-Broadway revival of Jonathan Larson's RENT, One Life To Live, the John Leguziamo project Fugly, and the soon-to-be released CBS Television Series Golden Boy. She's been featured in commercials for Revlon, Geico, GNC, Nikon, and Hoover Vacuum. Performing as Margot B., she has shared the stage with Jason Mraz, Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Nelly Furtado, and Lupe Fiasco; has produced or co-produced her entire music catalog; and can be seen around NYC at clubs Rockwood Music Hall, Webster Hall, National Underground and SOB's.

2005 saw two major milestones: her first full-length CD "Unframed" was released to a sold-out crowd at the Hard Rock Café, and she was a main force behind Pittsburgh's Katrina Relief Benefit Concert (both planning and performing) at Mellon Arena. The citywide event featured 10 acts, garnered major media attention, and raised approximately $200,000 for the American Red Cross.

2009 kicked off with Margot being named Best Female Vocalist at the Pittsburgh Hip Hop Awards, and hitting the recording studio to finish her second full-length CD "Two Thousand Mind". Her music video "Complete" aired nationally in Club Com's network rotation, while her voice was showcased in a national Hoover Vacuum commercial.

From the pageant stage to the soundstage, to center stage with a Grammy-nominated artist, Margot makes a habit of working hard and moving forward. For more information on Margot, visit www.MargotB.com.
