Creator and Executive Producer Mark Burnett accepted the award.

MARK BURNETT: First of all, I'd like to ?? come on, guys. Thank our Academy. Our incredible production team. Our showrunners Audrey Morrissey, Lee Metzger, Stijn Bakkers. John de Mol for the great format. NBC for taking the risk. Marty Fall (phonetic) and Paul Telegdy. Paul Telegdy was willing to put his job on the line for this, but Steve Burke and Bob Greenblatt supported him. Our great coaches. Carson Daly, our host. And for the millions of Americans who have made it the Number 1 young American music show ever, keep supporting. We're back on Monday. Keep us Number 1.
