According to The Hollywood Reporter, four actors from the ABC daytime drama 'One Life to Live' will reprise their roles for an upcoming story arc on the ABC soap opera 'General Hospital'. Kassie DePaiva, Roger Howarth, Michael Eason and Kristen Alderson will return in the roles they created on 'One Life to Live', which will conclude its 43 year run on January 13th. The long running soap was recently cancelled by ABC.

Frank Valentini, executive producer of General Hospital explained, “We have a very exciting story planned for the citizens of Port Charles, with Sonny Corinthos at the center of it! I am confident viewers and fans alike will be excited for the arrival of John (Easton), Starr (Alderson), Blair (DePaiva) and Todd (Howarth). Incorporating characters from One Life to Live continue the legacy of the show as we weave them into General Hospital.”

DePaiva has appeared as the character of Blair on One Life to Live since December 1993. Howarth returned to the serial to play Todd, the role he originated, in 2011. Easton joined the cast of the daytime soap in 2003 in the role of John, and Alderson has portrayed Starr since 1998.

'General Hospital' airs weekdays at 2:00 pm ET on the ABC network. Last year, it was nominated for eight Daytime Emmy awards.

Actor Roger Howarth made his Broadway debut in 'The White Rose'. In 1999, he starred in James Goldman's Broadway production of 'The Lion In Winter'. His TV credits include the role of Professor Greg Hetson on the series 'Dawson's Creek'. He received a Daytime Emmy award for his portrayal of Todd Manning on 'One Life to Live'.
