Paralyzed Veterans of America Awarded Telly Award for Ben Affleck Public Service Spot

Paralyzed Veterans of America is proud to announce that the organization has been selected as a Bronze Level winner in the 35th Annual Telly Awards for its public service spot featuring Paralyzed Veterans' supporter and Academy Award winner Ben Affleck. The award-winning spot can be viewed online at http://www.pva.org/BenAffleck.

"We are very honored and proud to be recognized for our efforts to raise awareness for veterans living with spinal cord injury and disease," said Bill Lawson, national president of Paralyzed Veterans of America. "We especially thank Ben Affleck for his support in our mission of helping paralyzed veterans live full and productive lives."

"Great news! I am thrilled and honored," Affleck said after hearing the news of the award.

The Silver Telly Council, the judging and oversight body for the Telly Awards, is composed of top industry professionals that are past winners of a Silver Telly, the body's highest honor. The Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries annually from the finest ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable companies, interactive agencies and corporations in the world. It is a remarkable achievement to be selected for recognition.

A portion of the winning spot ("Ben Affleck/PVA story") will be shown in Times Square several times a day during July, August and September.
